ARC - Alarm Receiving Centre
Through our in-house NSI Gold Approved Alarm Receiving Centre (First County Monitoring) we provide 24 hour Alarm Monitoring Services. As a commitment to provide the highest standards in monitoring services the Alarm Receiving Centre is accredited to British Standard 5979 Category II and ISO 9000 and further complies with existing British and European standards e.g. BS EN 50131, PD6662 etc.

The Alarm Receiving Centre provides services via the following methods.
BT RedCare
The RedCare service provides continual monitoring of a protected premise by the use of an existing BT line. This line is continually monitored and in the event of a line cut the ARC will be notified. With the addition of RedCare GSM monitoring will continue even though the line has been cut.
CSL DualCom
DualCom monitoring provides continual monitoring of a protected premise on any standard telephone line. Alarm signals are transmitted via Radio, GSM or GPRS and will provide notification to the ARC in the event of a line cut.
Digital Communicator
Digital Communicator monitoring provides monitoring of a protected premises via a standard telephone line. Alarm signals are transmitted to the ARC in the event of a situation arising. It must be noted that the Line is not continually monitored like RedCare or DualCom and will not report to the ARC in the event of a line cut.
CCTV Monitoring
The ARC is accredited to provide CCTV monitoring to comply with the British Standard BS 8418.
