Colour/Mono Cameras
These cameras have all the benefits of colour, combined with the superior night time performance of monochrome cameras and Built in infra red Infra-red lighting.
Stand alone Infra-Red Lighting
Provide either total or near invisible light at night time, depending on the type of unit used.
Lenses
Lens selection is especially critical since the choice directly affects the size, and quality of the image. Various options are available to meet the most demanding of requirements.
PTZ & Fully Functional Dome Cameras
Allow an operator to direct the camera to the area of interest. Powerful zoom function and fast movement allow pre programmed tours & patterns of operation to be programmed. Various mounting options are available for internal or external use.
Digital recorders
These utilise PC technology and record the footage to a Hard Disk. Some systems also use CD/RW for archive, or transfer purposes. Digital recorders are available as single channel or multi channel products, thus eliminating the need for a separate multiplexer.
CCTV Transmission
Transmission is a fast growing area of CCTV and security system installation. Images and signals are now taken far beyond the confines of the onsite CCTV network, and transmitted to the wider world. As well as using coax, twisted pair or fibre-optic for transmission, many products now send images via telephone (dial-up and ISDN, and both private and public networks), the Internet, and even wireless mediums.
The benefits of the new flexibility in transmission systems mean you can choose where to view the image. Remote monitoring from a central control room that covers several sites, viewing from home or from a remote location while travelling, or even transmitting the image through to the Police in the event of an alarm – the possibilities opened up by new transmission technologies are endless.
Rapid Deployment Cameras
Rapid deployment cameras have many advantages over traditional CCTV installations as they can be used virtually anywhere. By utilizing the latest wireless communication technologies the cameras can transmit images upto 4KM away. Rapid deployment cameras are lightweight and small allowing for easy transportation and mounting.
Camera image and control is achieved by either our ARC or a receiving station which consists of a digital recorder, TFT monitor and joystick for control of the camera. The receiving station is contained in a rugged carry case.
Generally these units are powered by electrical connection at the site location.
For isolated areas with no external electric supply, batteries with a life span of 72hrs plus, provide power for the camera allowing for the unit to be mounted in the remotest of locations.
